… And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world. (1 John 4:3)

If you were an evil supervillain, and you wanted to take over the world, how would you go about it? Everybody wants to rule the world, right? At least that is what Tears for Fears told us in the 1980s. It turns out it is easier sung than done. You cannot just give a TED Talk announcing, “Hello world. My name is John Q. Dictator, and I am in charge now. Do as I say, or off with your heads!” I mean some crimes are impulsive and can be done with little planning, like petty theft or trespassing. World domination, however, is not that simple. Tyranny takes time, thought, and a lot of teamwork. Throughout world history, many sociopaths have conquered parts of the world, even multiple continents, but no one has achieved global enslavement… yet.

The Bible foretells a time when one man, working at the behest of Satan, will finally achieve global tyranny. This man is known as the Antichrist. One day, he will take the helm of a full-spectrum planetary control system, and he will most certainly not be a benevolent dictator. In fact, he will be the most malevolent world leader of all time. Another name for this coming world tyrant is the Beast. There is a reason the Bible calls him the Beast. He will be exceedingly dreadful (Daniel 7:19), pompous (Daniel 7:25), and blaspheme the Almighty God (Revelation 13:5-6). He will have authority over every tribe, tongue, and nation, and he will strike fear in the hearts of everyone on earth (Revelation 13:4-7).

When the Antichrist ascends to power, it will be Satan’s shining moment. From the instant his coup attempt in heaven failed, he has been waiting for this point in time—his second chance to defeat God and take over the universe. The Devil has been plotting this event for thousands of years, and when it finally arrives, he and his earthly accomplices will be beside themselves with glee. They will watch it all unfold from their dark, smoke- filled rooms as they rub their hands together with sinister smirks. Satan will be so obsessed with what is happening, at one point he will indwell the Antichrist, controlling everything he does (2 Thessalonians 2:9). This unprecedented time in world history will culminate with one final battle between Jesus Christ and Satan incarnate—the Antichrist. This battle is known as the Battle of Armageddon, and it will not end well for Satan and the Antichrist (Revelation 19:11-21).

Satan’s blueprint for global tyranny is described in great detail in the Bible. His methods, motives, and earthly coconspirators are all laid out for anyone to see. Sadly, most people, even many Christians who should know better, are oblivious to the cosmic battle between God and Satan that is rapidly reaching its zenith. I have written about this Satanic plot to rule the world in my three-volume series, Spirit of the Antichrist. That trilogy represents the culmination of more than fifteen years of research into the Luciferian conspiracy to usher in the New World Order under Satan’s direction.

It has been about three years since the third book in that set was released. I covered a lot of ground in those nine hundred combined pages, all structured around what I call the seven spirits of the Antichrist—seven characteristics of the coming tyrannical system that are emerging before our very eyes. When I completed the collection in 2023, even as comprehensive as it was, I knew it was by no means the last word on the matter. How could it be? The tentacles of Satan’s influence run far and wide, and it was clear to me that if the Rapture did not happen soon, I would need to provide an update exposing new ways each of the seven spirits are advancing. What I did not foresee, however, was how quickly such an addendum would be necessary. It is head-spinning to see the amount and severity of prophetically significant events that have occurred in just the past two to three years.

The premise for this study comes from 1 John 4:3, where God’s Word tells us, “The spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, …is now already in the world.” This evil spirit has manifested itself in many ways as Lucifer readies his team for the final battle between good and evil, between God and Satan. Although the future Antichrist will not be identified conclusively until he confirms the seven-year covenant with Israel (Daniel 9:27), Scripture warns that “many antichrists have come” in these last days (1 John 2:18), and we should “test the spirits” (1 John 4:1). When the Antichrist signs that treaty, the clock starts ticking on the final seven years that lead up to the triumphant return of Jesus Christ to take the throne and usher in the Messianic Kingdom. Those seven years will be the most momentous in human history.  

Since the end of the first century, Satan and his earthly collaborators, his antichrists, have been working together in earnest to pave the way for this period of abject tyranny and complete global control. The Bible describes this malevolent conspiracy in Psalm 2. “The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us” (Psalm 2:2–3). Note the capitalization of “Their.” This is a reference to the Triune God—God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The earthly rulers, under the direction of Satan, are trying to cast off God’s control over them and the entire world.  

Satan craves power. He does not accept the reality that absolute power belongs only to the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe. Satan wants to “exalt his throne” and “be like the Most High” (Isaiah 14:13-14). We might say Satan has control issues. He wants control of the created realm, but he will never get it. God laughs at Satan’s futile attempts to win this cosmic battle. “He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; the Lord shall hold them in derision” (Psalm 2:4). The whole earth belongs to the Lord, and only His eternal Son is the rightful heir to the earthly throne. “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion” (Psalm 2:6). The coming kingdom is a Messianic Kingdom, not a Satanic one. Satan is screaming into the void. He has no real power, and his efforts are guaranteed to fail.

Also included in this ominous plot to rule the world are Satan’s evil celestial beings in the unseen realm. Together, Satan, his earthly accomplices, and evil angelic beings make up the Luciferian Conspiracy, as I outline in Spirit of the Antichrist Volume One. A conspiracy is simply defined as two or more agents working together to commit a crime or do something evil. The greatest conspiracy of all time is the Luciferian Conspiracy involving Satan, earthly leaders, and evil celestial beings. Together they are scheming to defeat God and claim this world as their own. 

Even though the conspiracy is doomed from the start, Satan, deluded and self-deceived, keeps marching forward with his pointless plans. Blinded by his own pride, he truly believes he will defeat God, and the closer we get to the rise of the Beast, the more desperate Satan becomes. If he were an organist, sitting at a majestic pipe organ in a grand cathedral, he would be pulling out all the stops, pounding wildly on the keys, filling the air with piercingly loud discordant chords. The Bible warns, “the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19). Satan is the “god of this age” and the “prince of the power of the air” (2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2). 

The prison planet Satan is constructing will be led by the consummate Antichrist, whom Satan will indwell. For a brief period, Satan will think he has arrived at the pinnacle of power. All the world will worship him through the Antichrist. Yet his reign will be short-lived. Satan’s destiny is sealed. The Antichrist and his second-in-command, the False Prophet, will be cast into the eternal lake of fire when Christ returns at the end of the seven years (Revelation 19:20). Satan himself will join them one thousand years later, and together this unholy trinity of Satan, the Antichrist, and the False Prophet, will be “tormented day and night forever and ever” (Revelation 20:10). What a glorious day that will be for believers when the enemy is finally vanquished once and for all. 

In the meantime, the Satanic spirit of the Antichrist is gaining speed in a variety of ways. In Fade to Black: Rise of Global Tyranny, we revisit the seven spirits of the Antichrist that I introduced in my previous trilogy to see what new manifestations have arisen since that series came out. These are the spirits of Pretense, Power, Phenomena, Pride, Persecution, Perversion, and Pluralism. When referring to these spirits, I capitalize them to distinguish them from the general usage of those terms. In meticulous detail, I show how these spirits are being displayed in unprecedented ways in terms of both prevalence and intensity. The pieces of the End Times puzzle are coming together, and this means we are closer than ever to the Rapture of the church. Maranatha!

In the pages that follow, I document how recent events, news items, and other developments support the premise that the spirit of the Antichrist is proliferating even more since my previous books were published. As much as I would enjoy rehashing all the material from that set, I will resist that temptation. If you have read those books, it will provide some helpful foundation for what I am covering here. However, even if you have not read any of my previous books on this subject, I am quite sure you will track with me and find the contents of this volume worthwhile. From time to time, I will refer to a section in one of my previous books where you can find more information that will underscore what I am presenting here. 

When I began writing about this subject back in 2022, it represented a departure from the style and focus of my other books up to that point. Coming from an academic background, my previous works focused on systematic theology—books on eschatology, soteriology, etc. Even though I had been studying the Luciferian Conspiracy for more than fifteen years, I was reticent to put myself out there in print because conspiracy theorists are seldom allowed to play in mainstream academia’s reindeer games. In fact, when I presented the proposal for volume one to my academic publisher at the time it was met with raised eyebrows and pointed questions, which is why we decided to publish the books in-house at NBW Ministries. To my delight, the overwhelming response to my work on this subject has been positive. Most of my academic colleagues have appreciated the detailed approach to the subject even if they are not quite ready to cross the Rubicon with me. I continue to be humbled and encouraged by the interest in this topic. Not all feedback has been positive, of course. I definitely took some heat from the MAGA crowd when I provided my honest critique of President Trump in volume two, and I respect those who disagree with me on that issue or any other. 

As always, I encourage you to read each chapter below with a critical eye. Do not simply take my word for it. The bibliography at the end of this book supports the claims I make and provides resources for further study on your own. You likely will be introduced to concepts, topics, and realities you have not considered before. You may not agree with my commentary and insights in every area. Yet I am confident you will come away acknowledging the pervasive manifestations of the spirit of the Antichrist all around us and be strengthened in the faith as you see God’s plan of the ages taking shape. 

I suspect most of you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. However, we learned from my previous books that people from outside the Christian, Bible-believing arena are sometimes drawn to my work because of its conspiratorial content. Perhaps that is you. If so, I want to remind you that Jesus Christ is the hero of all Bible prophecy and the answer to all conspiracies. Although there are many intriguing topics floating around the conspiraverse, what matters most is where it is all headed. There will come a day when those who reject Jesus Christ as their Savior will stand before Him as Judge. In that moment, no amount of bargaining, and no resume full of good deeds, will change your destiny. It will be too late. I encourage you to trust in Jesus Christ today as the only one who can forgive your sins and give you eternal life. He loves you, and He died to pay your sin debt. He rose again the third day, defeating death, hell, and the grave. As the risen Savior of the world, only Jesus has the authority to give you salvation. Trust Him Today! 

A frequent comment I hear from readers is that some of the information in my books is unsettling or even frightening. One reader showed me a picture of one of my books sitting on her nightstand right next to a bottle of Pepto- Bismol! I got a good chuckle out of it, but it also gave me the opportunity to point out that fear is not of the Lord. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7). We must never be scared, but we must be prepared. I have reminded people of this often as I speak and write about the Luciferian Conspiracy. My goal in presenting this material is not to invoke fear, but to expose darkness so we can be prepared for what is coming. A wise person foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them; a fool does not and suffers the consequences (see Proverbs 22:3). 

As I embark on this codicil to my Spirit of the Antichrist works, I am reminded of the Polish and French scientist, Marie Curie. She was a pioneering researcher in the field of radioactivity who died in 1934. Before her passing, she became the first woman to win a Nobel Prize; the first person to win a Nobel Prize twice; and the only person to win a Nobel Prize in two scientific fields. Her husband, Pierre Curie, was a co-winner of her first Nobel Prize, making them the first-ever married couple to win the award. Marie was known for her honesty and moderate lifestyle. Albert Einstein reportedly said of her, “She was probably the only person who could not be corrupted by fame.”

I chose a Marie Curie quote as the epigraph for this book: “Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.” I hope Fade to Black: Rise of Global Tyranny helps you understand more so that you may fear less.
